Technical Support

The Computing and Web Resources support technicians provide computer support for Extension and CAHNRS administrators, faculty, staff, and graduate students.

Support requests are submitted to a work queue which operates on a first in, first out philosophy. We escalate priority for emergency and non-functionality problems, such as computer crashes, loss of network connectivity, email communication issues, and virus/worm attacks.

The Computing and Web Resources support technicians are available to assist with all of your computing needs, some of which include:

  • Microsoft Exchange email, calendaring, and collaboration tools
  • WSU Network ID and WSU Friend ID setup and maintenance
  • WSU wireless and wired network connection configuration
  • SharePoint site setup and maintenance
  • Lyris email distribution list setup and maintenance
  • Email client setup and configuration
  • Accessing WSU central computing services
  • Access to various Extension and CAHNRS web services
  • File storage and backup services
  • Account and system security
  • Software site licenses
  • Desktop and laptop configurations and purchases
  • Computer hardware and software application troubleshooting
  • Computing and network recommendations
